1930s/40s English Wall Mounted Cabinet With Cold Gesso Chinoiseries Panels

This is a beautifully made rare Art Deco wall mounted cabinet. The cabinet was built around two Chinse gold gesso panels with heavily carved chinoiseries depicting various scenes. This cabinet is attributed to the English Rowley Gallery founded in 1898 renowned for framing valuable paintings and panels for the National Portrait Gallery, Leighton House and various local artists.
