Restaurant & Loungelover
Situated in Shoreditch, London’s vibrant arts and culture hub, Loungelover was a highly successful restaurant, renowned for its memorable, vintage style décor, quirky cocktails, and deliciously tempting tapas menu. It was also well known for its 2 for 1 cocktails that were served every day from 5pm-8pm.
Now closed but, thankfully, never forgotten, Loungelover quickly became the stomping ground of cool, flamboyant and extravagant Londoners, who loved to drink, indulge, and socialise in exciting surroundings that stepped away from the norm.
An integral part of London’s vibrant social scene, this ‘bang on trend’ restaurant transformed into one of the capital’s coolest and hippest stomping grounds.
With its neon signs, cosy and inviting dens, and decadent chandeliers, Loungelover’s weird and wonderful personality certainly set this restaurant and cocktail bar apart from other establishments, which was always our aim. This ethos is now reflected in our team’s new business ventures, including our very own line of furniture and interior design business.
Offering a never-ending cocktail menu, which included old and new favourites, as well as a food menu that boasted a whole host of delicious dishes and treats, it’s no surprise that Loungelover quickly became a firm favourite amongst London’s social elite.
Above all, one thing that really stood out about Loungelover was that it was always ahead of the game when it came to experimenting with new and exciting cocktails, in order to offer something unexpected and out of the norm.
For example, one of the our most popular tipples featured Fig Liqueur, sweet vanilla, and zesty lemon oil, finished with Lounge Lover Champagne. It’s only now that many Shoreditch bars and restaurants have followed suit and extended their cocktail menus, so you can imagine how much Lounge Lover stood out from the crowd years ago, right?
And the food menu was just as tantalising, even if we do say so ourselves… featuring dishes such as Salmon Ceviche with avocado and coconut milk through to pork belly served with onion and potato pakora, we prided ourselves on serving up quality dishes at exceptional prices. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that the venue was jam packed, every single night of the week.
The perfect venue for mate dates, group nights out, and romantic date nights, Loungelover was always a hive of activity, with locals and visitors from further afield making the venue their first port of call for all of their social activities. And it’s safe to say that the cliental appreciated our luxurious, flamboyant and extra-ordinary feel.
After all, when Loungelover was born, stepping outside the box was pretty much unheard of in the entertainment world.
Our restaurant is now closed, however the impression it made in one of London’s trendiest and hippest stomping grounds will never be forgotten, and many people still talk about the brand today.
